Over the past decade, the Lovemarks concept has sparked a wealth of research on the topic of emotional marketing. Lovemarks Campus uses that research to facilitate a rigorous academic discussion on the role emotions play in consumer decisions.
Here, you’ll find a regularly updated collection of some of the cutting-edge research that informs Saatchi & Saatchi’s thinking about creating brands that inspire Loyalty Beyond Reason. The site also features a number of tools for educators who are interested in teaching Lovemarks – and the broader idea of emotional marketing – to their students.

Kevin Roberts is Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi, one of the world’s leading creative organizations. From 1997 until 2014 he was CEO Worldwide at Saatchi & Saatchi. He became Executive Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi in 2015, then Chairman in 2016. He is Honorary Professor of Innovation and Creativity at the University of Auckland Business School, Honorary Professor of Creative Leadership at Lancaster University, Honorary Professor of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, Honorary Professor of Leadership and Innovation at the University of Victoria (B.C.) School of Business, and holds honorary Doctorates from Lancaster University (UK), International University in Geneva (Switzerland) and University of Waikato (New Zealand). He was CEO in Residence at the Judge Business School, Cambridge University, for eight years. Kevin Roberts has authored several books and is best known for his creation of Lovemarks, an idea that has transformed the conventions of brand marketing. His book ‘Lovemarks: the Future Beyond Brands’ has been published in 18 countries. In 2013, Kevin, a New Zealand citizen, was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZM) for services to business and the community. Currently, he is business ambassador for the New Zealand United States Council, and Chairman of Australasian healthy-food-with-recipes delivery service, My Food Bag.
